Paper Plane Kit: fold it, fly it, film it.
A concept product film for a fictional fold-up paper plane kit, made by Mythos Animation to show the full previs-to-final workflow on a 16:9 toy film. There is no client and no brand: the film opens the Mythos home page as our flagship concept.

— 01 · Overview
A kit that folds and flies
A sheet lifts off a stack of paper above the clouds, the kit is revealed, the parts press out and fold into a biplane, and it takes off over the clouds.
— 02 · Creative objective
Show the product working
Construction toys sell on the build. The objective was to show the kit really folding into the plane, step by step, while keeping the film cinematic. Kids fold it; the kit never builds itself.
— 03 · Target audience
Families and gift buyers
Written for parents and gift buyers browsing product pages and social feeds, and for retail buyers judging how a kit would look on a listing.
— 04 · Initial concept
Light through paper
The look was planned around sunlight through paper, macro focus and folds with weight, with paper sound design cut on the music.
— 05 · Storyboard and previs
Eleven shots planned in Maya
Every shot was posed in four views and planned in the Maya Camera Sequencer before any final picture was made.
— 06 · Asset development
A kit built to fold
The plane was built as a real fold-up kit with a fold rig, so the build in the film follows the actual parts.
— 07 · Animation and cinematography
Faster and faster
The press-out and folds accelerate on the beat, then the camera cranes and follows the plane off the edge of the stack.
— 08 · Lighting and rendering
AI rendering on top of the approved previs
The final picture was rendered with Seedance 2.5 from the approved previs, with each take checked against the model so the parts stay on-model.
— 09 · Final video
The finished film
The 30-second film with music and sound design.
— 10 · Deliverables and approach
What a client would receive
For a real brand: the 16:9 master, a 9:16 version for social, cut-downs for each placement, still frames for the listing and the approved previs.
