— How it works

The road from your toy to a finished film.

A good toy film is not one click. It is built in stages, and every stage ends with a check-in where you review, comment and approve before we move on. Here is the road your project travels.

  1. Stage 1

Share your toy, in full detail

The best start is your 3D files: FBX, Blender or Maya (CAD works too). Send everything that defines the real product:

    • Photos from every side, close-ups of logos and print
    • Exact measurements and scale
    • Colours and materials (Pantone codes if you have them)
    • How it moves and plays: wheels, joints, lights, sounds
    • Packaging and brand guidelines

The more detail you share, the closer the film matches the toy on the shelf.

  2. Stage 2

    Build the toy in 3D

No 3D files? We build the model from your photos and measurements, step by step:

    • Block-out: the main shapes and proportions
    • Detail: exact forms, edges, logos and print
    • Colour, textures and materials: plastic, plush, metal, glitter, matched to the sample

You get turntable renders to check against the real toy, side by side.

    ↻ Your review · revisions · approval

  3. Stage 3

    Rig the moving parts

We add the controls that make your toy move: joints, wheels, hinges, doors, lights and launchers. Every function is tested so it moves exactly like the real product, and never in a way the real toy can't.

↻ Function check with your team

  4. Stage 4

    Story and 3D previs

A short story or storyboard, then a rough 3D draft of the whole film: camera, timing and the toy's play pattern. Most changes happen here, where they are quick and cheap.

Expect a few rounds: we iterate until the story and timing feel right.

  5. Stage 5

Animate in a cartoon, stylised world

Full animation with personality: a colourful, stylised world with squash, stretch and playful timing. Through all of it, your toy stays the clear hero, on-model and easy to read.

    ↻ Playblast reviews · polish

  6. Stage 6

    Render, finish and deliver

The approved animation is rendered in Unreal Engine or with AI rendering such as Seedance 2.5, whichever suits your project and budget. Then sound, music and the final edit, delivered in the formats you need.
