— Previsualization
Plan every shot before the shoot.
3D previs for directors, producers, agencies and filmmaking teams: camera, staging, timing and pacing worked out in 3D, so the whole team sees the same film before money is spent on the shoot or the final animation.
Previs is a planning tool, not the finished film. It uses simple models and grey-shaded or lightly textured scenes so ideas can change fast. Final production-quality animation is a separate stage, which we can also produce.
— What we plan
From script to shot list.
- 01
Shot planning
Shot lists and coverage worked out in 3D, with real lenses and camera heights.
- 02
Camera blocking and staging
Where the camera and every character or prop sit, shot by shot, in a scene built to scale.
- 03
Timing and pacing
Cuts and moves timed to dialogue, music or a temp track, so the edit is planned before the shoot.
- 04
Cinematic animatics
A watchable cut of the whole sequence for pitches, client approvals and crew briefings.
- 05
Action sequences
Stunts, vehicles and complex moves worked out safely in 3D before anyone is on set.
- 06
AI-assisted look exploration
Optional style frames rendered over the previs to explore a look. Clearly marked as exploration, not final picture.

— How it works
A simple previs process.
- 01
Script or boards
Share the script, storyboards, references and any locations, sets or assets you already have.
- 02
Build the scene
Sets, characters and props are blocked out to scale in 3D, with the camera package you plan to use.
Maya Blender Unreal Engine - 03
Block and review
Cameras and action are blocked shot by shot; you review and give notes on the cut.
- 04
Deliver
An approved previs video plus shot list and camera notes. Editable 3D scene files can be included where agreed in the project.
— FAQ
Before you ask.
Is previs the same as final animation?
No. Previs is a planning version with simple models and lighting, made to lock camera, staging and timing. Final animation is a separate, fully produced stage.
What do you deliver?
An approved previs video, usually with a shot list and camera notes. Editable 3D scene files can be delivered where we agree it in the project.
Can previs be used for a pitch?
Yes. A cinematic animatic is often the clearest way to sell a sequence to a client, studio or investor.
Which software do you use?
Maya, Blender and Unreal Engine, matched to your pipeline where needed. AI look exploration is optional and always labelled as such.
How is previs priced?
Previs is quoted per project, based on the number of shots, scene complexity, assets and schedule.
Can you work under NDA?
Yes. We sign your NDA before you share scripts or files.
Planning a film, commercial or music video? Share the script or boards and we will plan the previs with you.
